Airport Youth Career Day Offers about 1,500 Job Opportunities<BR> Meeting the Staffing Demand for Terminal 2’s Phased Opening

(Hong Kong, 5 December 2025, 1230hrs) – Airport Youth Career Day 2025, hosted by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), kicked off at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) today. More than 20 organisations from the airport community are participating in this two-day event, offering over 1,500 job opportunities along with the latest career information in the industry. Participants may apply for these jobs on site and take part in interviews. With the commissioning of the Three-runway System (3RS) last year and the phased opening of Terminal 2, including the departure facilities which is scheduled to open next year, the number of flights and passengers has been increasing. HKIA will need to expand the workforce to accommodate the increasing demand.

Airport Youth Career Day 2025 features recruitment booths, offering jobs ranging from ground services, aircraft maintenance, aircraft engineering, airfreight, aviation security, among others, to cater for the airport’s latest developments. Representatives of various organisations will also share information on the latest aviation employment trends, discuss career development, and offer advice about job seeking. Booths are also set up to offer guidance on compiling CVs, CV photography and interview preparation.

In addition, AAHK also introduced “Hong Kong International Airport Career Page”, a dedicated recruitment website designed to support job seekers in their search. The site provides up-to-date listings of vacancies spanning a range of positions at HKIA. The website employs AI technology to provide suggestions for job seekers about CV and interview preparation. Market information about salary trends is also shared on the website as a reference.
